Rob ic
Just to be clarify: We usually announce a number of artists before the end of the early bird ticket. Only after that do we actually state which day the various acts are playing. This year there's an exception: we're announcing the first acts for the Drowned in Sound stage... now! Drowned in Sound take-over the DMH stage on Sunday 15th. NB We will announce all the bills from "top" to "bottom" day-by-day in one months time, approx. cheers Rob

SweepingTheNation
I was about to say, that seems a bit potentially cramped for even the bigger Rising tent... That's a hell of a start.

Ruthd84
Los Campesinos! will be really good to see - were impressive at The Musician the other week and at Glastonbury a few years ago so looking forward to seeing them again. Frightened Rabbit never seem to play a bad set and Futureheads will be solid. I've got high expectations for Errors too! By the second stage that's the indoor one isn't it? I'll be attempting to see all of that lot
Ruthd84
a pretty strong line up for that stage. I imagine it's gonna be pretty rammed. I'll be avoiding Los Campesinos myself though so there'll be space for 1 more! oh I didn't read it was the hall, maybe not so rammed then! well Futureheads will be busy! SweepingTheNation
We've now unfortunately got to hope the Rising and Musician stages are lacklustre on Sunday. Going back to the headliner thing, I doubt it'll be the Fall because... well, there's a very live risk that Mark'll be singing from offstage for two songs, eventually wander on in a severe alcohol haze, do nothing not on the new album, attempt to turn everyone's amps down and then wander off after 25 minutes. I don't think there'd be much against the Go! Team headlining, especially if they've got their new album out by then, but it seems they're promoting Mumford & Sons as the big name from the first announcement. seantizz
An excellent announcement there. After initial wariness with first announcement, this is again shaping up to be a vital weekend of the festival calendar.
