Just booked our tickets for sudoeste 2010!!!

Anybody going or been?

Whats it like?

What are booze and food prices like compared to the UK?

Hi,

I had never gone there but I heard a lot of things about this festival. Normally there are lot of people at the age of 16-20. Normally there were there a lot of people but in a lot of shows of "not comercial" music, bands like Faith No More or Bjork, last year, the audience is very small. But there are always a lot of people seeing reaggea concerts.

The food and drink are cheaper than uk festivals, probably half of the price...

In my opinion the line up is bad every year, but there are 2 or 3 very good names per year.

Only 5 days after Paredes de Coura festival, I think is a good choice to go both.

The best option I think is to catch a train in Lagos to the place of the festival. It's about 2hours. I think you could buy the ticketcs at the festival website

The train go to a train station in Alentejo and after that you have free (I think it's free) bus transfer to the festival. I think it cost 10-15e, but I think there isn't a train station in lagos.

I think you could send an e-mail to the festival organization to know more about that.
