I've had a change of heart with the tops now!

Neil (efestivals) are kindly donating 25 Red and 25 Blue efestivals T shirts which will have efestivals Glasto World Cup 2010 on them. The same deal is going to apply as last year. If players donate at least £10 then they get to keep the top as a souvenir. Donations can be made online at http://www.justgiving.com/glastoworldcup2010 or on the day.

All updated again. There is only 1 spot left for The Rest of the World squad now!

Funkyfairy - last year we got WaterAid to supply tops and each cheerleader made a donation. We'll probably do the same this year.

Thanks to stevep, whiteash and stutheblue for their donations :P

We now have £250 in just over 24 hours. Thanks people. :P

Shinnies..... :P

Really?

More serious than I expected then. That said, I always take a game of footy fairly seriously. I'm suffering a shoulder injury at the minute and had a Cortizone injection last week. Told a mate yesterday and his comment was "well, if it's f**ked permanently, that's 60% of your game gone."

Serious.

I mentioned this in the other thread a few days back, and I realise it's probably too late now, but are we sure we want to use JustGiving? Virgin Money Giving charges less and more of the donation goes to the charity. I know I'm biased as I work for VMG but the facts speak for themselves:

"So, for every £10 you give as a UK taxpayer, the charity receives almost £12, and they get it much faster than they would otherwise."
