scooby06
I would like to go on the Thursday this year even without an earlybird ticket. Is there anywhere for us to park up and has anyone ever paid on 'the door' for early entry?
indie-rocknroll
You can go on white pump farm next door for £5 for the night My friends do it but the que is waiting for the actual gates to open, once that is done you are pretty much straight in, I have never had much of a delay getting in but we are still camping on the Thursday as well just to get one extra night in. scooby06
So we can camp at the farm? Or do you sleep in your car? Sorry if I sound thick but I suppose we'd have to be up really early to get to the front of the queue... Also what's it like at the farm?? Cheers
indie-rocknroll
You camp on teh farm, there's police patrols everywhere getting people out of t heir cars if they try to camp over in cars, the camp is £5 per night and she makes bacon butties in the morning
indie-rocknroll
Also like I said, there is no rush to get to the front of the que, if you are at thr front you have to wait until they let you park, if you are at the front at the gates, you have to wait until they let you in and once they do open the gates, they get hundreds and undreds of people in very quickly from different car parks, I have never seen there being any rush at all. Last year my friends slept in cars and got in at the fron at South car park, we had breakfast in the morning set off a reasonable time and got into a new car park just opening, can of Pims opened and tent up before they even got to camp.
