I think it'll be strange linkin park only playing reading & leeds when there still on their tour of a thousand suns, with the exclusivity. Unless they'd play t in the park and oxegen. But would t and oxegen have both linkin park and blink 182?

Saying that they may just come to Europe for the late festivals punklepop, rock en siene etc.

Kasabian are a bit of a meh... band for me. With them it's a case of 'Don't believe the hype'. I like Club Foot but otherwise everything else is just a BBC advert; it's the same with Florence + The Machine. I watched her set last year at Glastonbury and heard her version of Fleetwood Mac's 'The Chain' and thought, "she's only doing that so the BBC can use it for Formula 1 - c**ts"

I couldn't give a monkeys if Kasabian were playing or not to be honest. They're trying too hard. It's as if they're sneakily going into record shops with an itinerary of every record John Peel ever liked and mixing them all together with the hopes of being taken seriously by people that run the Mercury Prize, scared shitless in case they get found out and can't name The Fall's first single live on Radio 1.

Kasabian are a band that make me think, "meeeeeyyyhmmmmmmnnnnnoooooyeeeeaaaahmaaaayyybeeeeyyeeeeahhhh they're a bit.... mmmmmmnyeeeeahhh..."

What I don't like about Kasabian the most is how the NME or Radio 1 look to them as the saviours of modern music when otherwise the rest of the musical world is mundane as hell, then thrusts them in front of me and waves them around like a severed head telling me that I should notice them or face the risk of being uncool. It makes me resent them. It's like how - if somebody corners you in the shopping centre and asks you to sign up to LoveFilm.com - just f**k off.
