I made them 2 months in advance one year and we had a heatwave and drunk them! Then had a mad rush to get them done in time!

So if I do them up to a month (1 week maybe 2 weeks a maximum of 4 weeks AKA a month) in advance I wouldn't dream of drinking them!

Just curious but why freeze a month in advance? Seems a little odd. Does it get extra cold if you do that?

i'll be taking with me a 20ltr box of cider and a 1.5ltr of Sailor Jerry's Rum thats it

i'll buy coke on site for cold down the rum and spare cash for beers

I've a friend who had his ticket cancelled by accident (VERY long story) on ticket day the other day (He had his since the 1st sale. Are there any job opportunities with you or your team? His mother is a landlady of a pub in Birmingham, he's got bar experience from the age of 0.

I was 17 last year for my first glasto, I brought plenty of drinks with me with no trouble.

I normally bring to festivals a large bottle of tequila and vodka, 2 liters of red bull and 8 or so beers. Seems to do me fine. I also plan on making some vodka infusions as well this year

Am a Glasto virgin What is the chance of gettin alcohol in the main area not just tent. At V they checked so could not get it in

You're allowed it everywhere... there is no "arena" as such.

I am one of the team Organisers for the same company and your friend { or any friend for that matter } has zero chance unless they own a Time Machine.

The bids for the whole year had to be in by the first deadline which was the 1 st of March - after that date no bid can be altered.

In fact I have three Landlords who run their own pubs on my Team but even they cant be slotted into a place at this late stage { unless they made a request before the deadline }

This year is going to be unusual as the smaller public bars are being run by a different Company amd Shelter are supplying the staff and they have closed their list for glasto { but still taking names for their waiting list } application area

This does mean that places for the WBC is even more restrictive than last year and there will be lots of experienced WBC Staff who did not get a place this year { even although they did not miss the first deadline } although I myself was lucky.
