Hey I'm going to glastonbury for the first time this year and I'm thinking of buying a roof box to carry all my gear in. Just wondering if I would be able to get back to my car for my stuff after I have pitched my tent?

Driving from glasgow lol!

Might be worth getting a trolley of some kind to help cart all your stuff from the car. Depending where you park and where you camp the walk can be quite considerable. The only limitation on returning to the car is the distance and time involved. I've sometimes done a second trip back to the car, but generally prefer to get it all done in one. If you've got some people who can setup camp, others can go back for beer etc.

Its just your luck as they try to fill up each field in turn so its not like driving into a supermarket where you can cruise about to find a good spot .

Without a good trolley you will not be able to manage it { the bigger the wheels the better }

Be sure not to bring any Scottish £ 50 or £ 100 notes - Yes some people do show up at the bar with a £ 100 note and it takes ages to verify - they normally ask me to check even although I left Glasgow thirty odd years ago }

You may be surprised to discover that there is lots of Scottish Security { and other Security Companies }

so you may hear a lot more Scottish voices than you were expecting.

One thing you will not find on sale is Irn-Bru so bring lots of stock down with you { a hint they sell large bottles in the main English supermarkets }

Glastonbury is bigger than the centre of Glasgow { even counting in Glasgow Green } - image below does not cover all of it but you will get the message.

Wide eye view of Glasto

Nice one, I never even thought of changing the Scottish notes!

So I guess I'm probably better trying to get there on Tuesday night to get a good space, oui?

Wow lol, never realised the actual huge scale of the festival! woop..Cannot wait :P
