Binky
I don't know why but I have this huuge feeling that it's utter bullshit and that the government don't want any planes in the air for some reason. The scottish guy on the news that had dust all over his car was such an actor!
philipsteak
of course the goverment want planes in the air think of all the lost APD(one of NEWlabours greatest stealth tax) and vat and IPT(another NEWlabour stealth tax ) that they are losing can you imangine the ambulance/coffin chashers sharks would have a field day if they allowed them to fly and crashed as a result have you seen the aircraft crash investigation about the 747 that almost went down years agospeedbird
Lithium05
Dont know if anyone remembers me mentioning that a mate spent silly money to book a holiday to Cuba as a gift for his girlfriend? They're due to leave tomorrow!

greenfairy43
I'm heading off to the canaries a week on Saturday. So very much in the 'unsure' camp at the mo. Can anyone recommend anywhere nice in the UK to pop for a few days over may bank holiday? We're thinking devon/cornwall?
smog
The better half was meant to be coming back to visit for the weekend from NYC on Thursday night - not looking good now Her mums been out there visiting this week and was due to fly back today but flights have been cancelled. Thats actually quite funny because her mum will probably enjoy the extra time in the US but it will drive the missus round the bend I have a friend in the US who has had a flight cancelled by Virgin and has also, like someone above mentioned, been told May 6th/7th which would be terrible for everyone involved to be fair. big joe
Just wondering. Isn't the volcano that erupted next to a much bigger one that may be triggered into going off by these events? If so, how big is this other one and what would the consequences be?
