Until recently, In Canada, they'd opened it up to all mental illnesses, which led to people choosing it as a way out if they were struggling financially. 😞 Effectively meaning the state was sponsoring the death of the poor, rather than helping them get back on their feet. (I think it's been changed now, after public outrage.)
