campervan area question

please could anyone advise me on whether i can pitch my tent next to my friend's campervan?

Each campervan is allowed one tent so as long as your friends not bringing one too you're fine

you'll be absolutely fine, and there is no limit (within reason, i'm sure) on tents beside the campervans. loads put up tents just to store things.

last year we stayed in a two man tent next to my sister's campervan, two friends were in another two man tent next to ours, and we had a third two man tent to keep our stuff in overnight.

like with most things, i think it's fine as long as you don't take the p#ss.

also, there is no beside or behind enforcement going on - or at least not for the last two years. we've always camped *beside* the campervan, but i've also seen lots of tents - particularly toilet tents - *behind* the campervans.
