Started a last minute pre-Download fitness campaign yesterday. Two mile walk every lunch break, no crisps, no chocolate no junk food. It's going well, I'm using the walk to listen to an album of a band playing Download that I haven't listened to before. Yesterday was the new Coheed album today was "Hail Destroyer" by Cancer Bats. Any recommendations for the rest of the week?

I'm intending to give 'Ooh Crikey...Its Lawnmower Deth!' a listen before Download, just to ensure I'm fully up to scratch with some of Lawnmower Deth's material second time around!

Should be getting new Deftones and Dillinger LPs soon too. Heard nothing but good things about both.

Check out Hell Yeah's album. It's good, not fantastic but their new track is pretty sweet & they've got enough big tunes to fill a 40 minute slot.

I hope the next announcement brings a few more details about the campsite entertainment, village, etc., as well as maybe Malefice (hopefully) and one or two other decent bands!

Exactly! Next week is 3 weeks away from the damn thing and we 'should' have more news. f**ks sake everything should be done and dusted. Wasnt it sold out by that point last year? They havent even mentioned the village whatsoever this year. Other than right at the start when they said they were thinking of adding comedians. Pah!

I said that I haven't listened to before! Which rules out everything by Megadeth, AC/DC, RATM and BFMV, which leaves 3 albums, and one ep on your list. Probably won't keep me going that long
