Wimborne Folk Festival 2010

This year the 'Boundary Marquee' which used to be situated on the cricket feild in Wimborne has moved and changed it's name. The new 'Party In The Paddock' will be situated just off Poole Road as you head in to Wimborne from the Poole direction, opposite the entry for 'Wimborne Market'.

The dates for the Wimborne Folk Festival are Friday 11th June to Sunday 13th June 2010. The band line up for the weekend is as follows:

Friday night

7.30 - 8.30pm Constellation. Local, talented, singing their own music

9.00 - 11.30pm NOASIS. The UK's No1 Oasis tribute band!

Saturday

12 – 2pm Headland. Young, local and talented! Not to be missed

3– 5pm The Black Sheep. Always a folk favourite.

6– 8pm The Boothill Allstars. Great name, great band.

9 – 11.30pm Pronghorn. The band that defined folkrock!

Sunday

12 -2pm Colt 45. Young up and coming local talent at its best

2 – 4pm Lady Winwoods Maggot. Top folk with attitude.

5 – 7pm Souled Out. To close the party! A big sound! Everyone's favourite Soul Band

Brilliant stuff. If previous Wimbornes are anything to go by ( and I've done a few) you'll need to get to the saturday night one as early as poss - gonna be a great weekend
