started the table top today. cut 2 leafs but they need finishing. 6 more to go. the pale slabs in the next pic are the leafs. had to stop as we ran out of light.

still have to sand the hollow thing.(still don't know what to call it ! ) i nearly gave Ste a heart attack at dusk by taking a flash photo of him without warning him first. He thought the sander had developed a major electrical fault here's the photo. he has rather poor working conditions...inside a hollow bit of wood wielding a 9" grinder with a 36 grit sanding disc when its getting dark and it is well past beer o'clock. it is a pity the photo doesn't show the cloud of sawdust he is in. HERO.

hmmm. about 2 1/2 days work to do and we're leaving on saturday

and we've only done one delivery so far. should have done at least 3 by now.

the strain is starting to tell.

and when we get there we have a lot of setting up to do. probably end up sleeping throughout the whole festival.
