thegremlin_1999
That's cool. Cheers for that salt. A sterling job as ever. looks like I can do coheed, tcv and ac/dc. Awesome.
jammy2211
Harder to do for Sat / Sun as I think they have main, second and third stage bands still set to be randomly slotted in messing it all up lol. Friday is an odd one, no one can fathom how they're going to pad those stages out for their alloted time even with the late opening and pre-ACDC ending, unless Wolfmother and TCV have 2 hour sets 0_o. luckysalt
Cheers Gremlin, and Jammy, I just they're gunna start Main Stage about 5.30 or whatever, and just not bother before that, or maybe they will? For me Id bump up 36 Crazyfists to main and just book a smaller act in their place But Im gunna watch 2nd stage and then head to main either when it starts or for TCV, depening on final times, im deffo watching TCV and AC/DC, I like Wolfmothers music but his voice gets on my tits
jammy2211
Pretty sure H&S won't let you put bands on a limited capacity stage while the main stage which holds everyone isn't running. That why I think the main and other stages have to start at the same time, otherwise they're technically risking over crowding and stuff. I think the gap between TCV ending and ACDC could be far more epic then we're expecting too, like 90 minutes minimum. It certainly would help them pad the day out over 3 bands and ACDC's stage sounds like quite a task to build, even if alot of it is done on the Thursday night... luckysalt
Jesus I really hope not but yeah you're probably right, there could be a huge gap whilst they show the videos from Monsters of Rock and past Downloads Ive just been listening to Sweethead who are playing Friday low 3rd stage and I'd like to check them out too, QOTSA connection made me have a listen and they're pretty good on myspcae, just got the album I'll have a listen, sounds like there could be some nasty clashes on Friday which pisses me off even more that they aren't opening earlier and could pad out the main stage more with these bands

bekimo
Surely they are not going to leave Mainstage not starting until nearly 6 in the evening! Eeeek! That's going to be fun!

Spengs Muck
B4MV and then AC/DC - your gona be about 3 miles back from the mainstage there! oh and ever since Brian Johnson joined ACDC & with there already being a scouser somewhere in that lineup - i think us english have got a good claim on them nowadys! the_mars_volta
Can we have last year's line up with this year's headliners please?
theramm
Working on the premise that it's a 3 act mainstage. I reckon that when the arena opens there'll be a lot of people who'll head straight for the front of the mainstage & by the walkway and literally sit/stand there just to get a good spot for DC. If they're playing classic Donington footage etc to entertain mainstage peeps while the roadies beaver away that will remove any H&S risks. If Wolfmother play 15.45 - 16.45 with an hour break TCV play - 17:45 - 19:00 with an hour break. They've already said there's going to be a tribute/dedication to one of the original MOR organisers who passed away this year so 30 minutes for that? AC/DC - 8.30 - 10.45 (2hr set plus intro vid etc). I think I'll be at 2nd stage until ADTR finish then go & pitch up to get a spot for DC. I'm not bothered about getting too close as I was less then 10 ft away from Brian & Angus last year at Manchester , plus getting out of that crowd if you're at the front post performance is going to be horrendous. LethalLegacy
If it pans out like that, it works out how I imagined - Unearth, Lawnmower, TCV, AC/DC - plus Year Long Disaster! So that would be a win for me. Although its slightly depressing to see so much space in my schedule

jammy2211
Remember Napalm Death are replacing The Used but not on the poster yet - no idea if they'll be above DEP like The Used were but they won't be slotted at the bottom so er... Good luck with that 0_o.
luckysalt
Yeah it might not be perfect, but it will give us an idea and Napalm Death aren't playing in the same slot as The Used, they're under The Damned Things.
luckysalt
Done Sunday stage 1,2,3 are finished Saturday is missing one off main stage, as Ive put im guessing the act will be under FFDP and then the rest will move down a slot only 4th stage left then and then maybe Friday?
