Tent Nightmare!

I came to my first glasto 2 years ago and read a similar topic. I followed all the advice in regards to size, hydrostatic rating etc and ended up with a Vango 5 man thing (I think it was the vanguard 500).

If i'm being honest it was slightly too big for two of us (me and my mate) and I always had terrible trouble getting the bloody thing up (no jokes please).

Anyway my mate isn't coming this year and I'm going instead with the wife. Bearing in mind I will be lucky if she carries herself let alone the tent, beer, self inflating airbed(??), i thought it better to invest in a smaller lighter tent.

I stumbled across the Vango Beta 350 in GoOutdoors a week or two back for about 70 quid. They seem to tick all the boxes and whilst you cant really stand up, you can certainly sit on a chair in the 'porch' section should you wish.

For a three man it seems quite wide and the sleeping area should be big enough for a double airbed and my B&Q Trolley which i will lie down and put the beer/rucksacks on top of.

Being a tight northener I have been trying to get hold of one on the cheap and would you believe it, Go Outdoors have knocked them down to 49.99 for this week only...

It seems like a good deal and I thought i'd pass the deal for anyone who fancies a look.

If anyone else gets the tent, can you make sure you get the blue one - I've got the green one and my missus will be mortified if she finds someone with the same tent as her

Now if i could just find a self inflating, triple thickness airbed i'd be sorted
