I remember going to the science museum in San Francisco and having a coffee at a table outside. Every table had it鈥檚 own gas patio heater blazing away even though we were the only ones sat out.
We looked through the window and saw a massive display on climate change warning of all the catastrophic effects of greenhouse gases. The worrying thing was the staff couldn鈥檛 see the irony of it and just said we always have them lit.
One of the biggest surprises I ever had was when the criminals turned up at the school I taught in to do a surprise set. Only a few of us were aware of them coming. The school had suffered a tragedy and they had found out about it. They played in the assembly hall to the senior pupils. Scooby snacks was great! They spent an hour after talking to the pupils, signing autographs, giving out t shirts etc.
Congrats Oxfam Priority People!
It's very nice knowing that your place is in your basket... Feb 4th isn't that far away and then it's downhill from there!
Wishing all of the volunteers here a wonderful Christmas 馃檪
Maybe you didn't realise or have only visited on hot weekends but Worthy Farm is not lacking in the precipitation department. Those fields are not watered or artificial - that's actual nature right there.
Well the US is only spending 3%...so others aren't going to go higher unless they do.
Poland is leading the way...maybe because they know what's coming...
