I would say that one of the words that Glastonbury uses to describe it self is Contemporary which a quick google tells me means "belonging to or occurring in the present." This has often been written on the poster
I do not personally see any difference between Dua Lipa & Olivia Rodrigo headlining now - as in 1995 when Pulp & Oasis headlined - they are/were both contemporary bookings. As apposed to pinning it self with a specific genre of music or style Glastonbury's flex is that it will move with the times. These are just the big acts of the time.
Definitely do not agree that its odd - Id say these are the kind of act we should expect to see headline?
100% behind the Bad Manners shout - seen em live (anyone who lives in a southern seaside town has seen them, they'd turn up to the opening of an envelope and play, bless em) and i once had a wee next to Buster in the toilets at the Crypt in Hastings. He's smaller now than back in the day, he used to be huuuuge - and it is not easy to have a wee next to him in a tiny bog. It was like sharing a phone box with him 😄 nice fella, and impeccable handwashing hygiene, im happy to report.
How was the show? I didn't get a ticket because I wanted to save it for June. there's a ticket thread on the reddit, I've got one from someone on there and and so have a few friends. Lots of people selling nearer the time when plans fall through
