Use the lockups, your cash, keys and cards will be safe there. Just pop by each day and top up your wallet. I used to put my handbag under the inflatable bed for extra security back at the tent.

Remember that the lockups close at lunchtime on Monday so pick your stuff up before then!

This be be a useful read if you have not already come accross it.

By far the most secure is the Lockup option StoneCircle has detailed, and best of all they're free. before we had lockups we would dig a small hole somewhere under our tent and carefully replace the sod/turf to cover it up, we'd then put some valuables in a waterproof bag and store them in this hole. Not the most secure but suitably obscure to put off random chancers.

The lock ups are brilliant. You can store anything in there, big or small. I always put all my money & supplies in there & just take a day's worth out with me. I know how bolloxed I'm likely to get & that way I don't have to worry about losing or using everything up in one go!

I keep them on me.

I'm not the kind to get twatted so never fear losing things. I keep all my money, mobile and camera on me in a bag all the time.

Have never used a lock-up and wouldn't leave anything in my tent I would be upset about if it got stolen. Having said that I've never had anything stolen at Glastonbury.

its not a hole when you fill it back in again is it?

And it's not like you need to dig a crater just to hide a bit of money e.t.c

Cows have been living in rutted, and potholed and sometimes rocky fields for millions of years, a tiny little hole which gets filled back in isn't going to hurt them, the issue is with people digging big holes for fires e.t.c
