Sorry, you misunderstand. At 32 I'm not expecting to have a problem getting a beer, but I'm coming with a 16 years old stepson and I was more wondering if at any of the small venues (like the new Jazz & Blues bar), under 18's won't be admitted.

there is various configurations of WBC bars at Glasto that divide into two.

Counter bars which are more like serving hatches.

Walk in bars - some may have seating.

There is no restrictions on who you enter with but of course if you walked up to the bar with your stepson and asked for two pints of Beer then your stepson will be asked for ID.

So really you have to use a bit of common sense - if you want to order two pints for yourself then do this on your own.

Hubby chatted to him the other night, think the kid is quite happy that he doesn't have to tag along but a bit scared about getting lost. Hopefully going to camp where we did last time which was dead easy to find so he'll be ok. Half plan is to go around together on Wednesday night and Thursday, then all of us can get our bearings and we can cut him loose on Friday.

I was more thinking that if there was anywhere I fancied that he couldn't go into I'd half-plan that for when he's doing something else!

In ten years of going to Glastonbury, from hormonal teenager to proper, civilised, grown up bloke (who also happens to like titties) I have never seen or heard of a strip club at Glastonbury, and I'm pretty sure I'd know about it if there was one! Having said that, I've heard rumours that there was a little tasteful nudity at Trash City late one night last year....

I don't think anything in Trash City is "tasteful"

I did wonder last year what the old school feminists from the Green Fields would think of the heavily eroticised "delinquent showgirls" of Trash City thrusting and grinding in slutty outfits.

Somewhat more tasteful, one of the installations/bars in Shangri La had topless dancers who were *not* so explicitly eroticised.

Either way, I'm pretty sure there's no age bar at the door for any of this stuff.
