what? From the festival? I don't know why i find that idea weird it just seems strange to go to a festival then spend a day at a theme park in another county.

LOL - I left Glastonbury last year to come back to London for AC/DC at Wembley - was sooooooooooooo worth it!!! Not sure I'd leave a festival for a theme park though ,even if it is Alton Towers (which is awesome, agreed! )

45 minutes. Damn sight closer than 3 hours!!!

I dont get why its a big deal. loads of people do it. I could understand if I was going on the Friday/Saturday/Sunday. But the Thursday is all about lazing around the campsite!! Why do that when I have spent all day Wednesday doing that? I'm really not missing anything! I'll be back by 6pm in time for drinks in the bar, fun fair, entertainment, meeting people etc.....

Plus I have free tickets!!!

id never thought about doing it, but now you mention it...it actually sounds like a good idea. It's only like 30 miles from east midlands, if you have a car its nothing.

30 miles though... as lithium says, in a car (which I'll have) it's nothing. So yes, maybe next year.

So do I!!! Turns out that some people may have 3 day tix not 5 days... you really can't help some people, no matter how much you try!!! Definite facepalm...

Oh dear! Best thing you can do is spread your tents out a bit and move it all in to allow the extras in when they arrive. We tried to save space for people last year. And we did. And then they called us and said "do you have space for a few more?" and we were like "how many more?" and they said "oh only like 5 or 6 more tents" Idiots!

Probably. I don't know for sure. Wednesday nights Criminal Minds sorta freaked me out and now I think everyone I meet will be a crazy serial killer.

I'll meet you though Lith. I've met you before... HAHA
