ICE - can you buy bags?

Best option if you plan on lugging stuff onto site, is to fill at least half of your cool box with pre frozen 2 litre bottles of water and/or juice cartons as your ice packs. They can last for days more or less frozen (much longer than silly old freezer blocks) and although you might not get ice as such for your drinks, your mixers will be very cold until at least Friday evening if not Saturday and I can tell you now...the cool but defrosted water is a fecking godsend once melted!

Take as many as you can carry and a very decent and strong cool box to carry.

We did this at Glade in 06 (which was stifling) and we still had icy cold cranberry juice and water by Saturday. BLISS!

Freezing your bacon helps too. Keep some fresh for the first couple of days but if you have extra frozen stuff, it will keep very nicely for Saturdayand even into Sunday if catering at the tent.
