I get all my seperate portions from a local Sainsburys cafe and the KFC on the A303 on the way to the fest. Hav'nt seen butter portions for free though, you may need to cough up a fiver for a bag full from your local pub. If all else fails just use suntan lotion!

Raeding this thread with interest how has no-one suggested you start a fresh tub of your favourite butter/spread and when you get down to about 5 days worth you stop using it and then pack that saving the aggravation of trying to source portions I do this with my face wipes when I go away, the pack contains 25 so if I am going for a 7 night holiday I will need about 12 so I just keep count and when I have used 13 I close the pack put it in my toiletry bag and then I don't have to carry them back, I have just opened a new pack today and when I have used 15 they will be closed off for Glastonbury!
