1 - Can i bring a small fishing chair (its got metal bits, i heard that you could only take a certain type of chair!)

2 - Im in yellow camp, is it usually quieter than the red or quiet during the night?

3 - Are there alot of nasty tent trashers/theifs to speak of?

4 - Do you get freebies?

Welcome. Hope you enjoy you first V!!! Nice to have a thread that's not buying or selling tix on the Chelmsford page!!!

Answers to your questions:

1 - I'm assuming this question relates to the campsite....surely you're not thinking of taking a chair in to the arena!! :P . You can take a chair in to Yellow, the only things they'll stop you taking in are glass (bottles) and BBQ's

2 - Not a great deal of difference. Didn't get much sleep last year in yellow - I usually turn in at about 3am (I'm getting old!!) but the kiddies were playing until about 7am!!!

3 - It's not too bad! Take a tent big enough for yourself, the bigger walk-in tents with half a dozen of you sharing seem to be more tempting to the toerags!!

4 - Absolutely Not!!! This is V and they charge for absolutely everything (see other threads relating to stage times etc). Having said that, there was a stand giving out free Mint Aero's last year altho they didn't taste great with the Beer!
