I've just spoken to See tickets to buy 2 car park tickets and they tell me they're sold out and I'll have to find somewhere else, maybe a local farmer will rent out a field for parking! Will we definitely be able to pay at the gate for parking - I know you've been able to do it previous years. Don't want to get there and be turned away for parking :P

I tried to buy one yesterday lunchtime by ringing the seetickets number which put me through to a special 'glastonbury tickets hotline'. They told me that they were all sold out.

Tried the same number at about 6/7pm and instead of the glastonbury hotline, just ended up with a standard seetickets woman and she sold me a ticket.

Not sure if I got lucky or whether it actually makes a difference what time you phone up

Cash waiting here for a parking ticket - click on my name to the left and then click send message to me if you have one. Can send paypal cash or meet you if you are in London.

Just spent ages on the phones and no joy yet, tried talking to various different people.

Cheers,

Liam

Hazzah, as I wrote that last message I was in the midst of being on hold - I had been on hold for about 45mins already then, but let the phone playing away there crazy muzak.

Anyway, 1hour 15 minutes in i get through to a human, who said yes, loads of Car Parking tickets left at the original price.

Even offered to let me buy 2!

I got through on 0115 912 9000

I have also emailed Glastonbury Festival Offices to et confirmation that you can still buy on the gate, i'll let you know their response.

Cheers, and bring it on!

Got a response back from 'infoman' the glasto helper - he neither confirmed or denied buying on the gate.

I've asked again specifically about buying on the gate, and will let you know.

but as i said i got me a ticket up front now :P

Just got the definitive answer - yes you can buy on gate/approach for £15:

<Seetickets> Should be ok to try them again now Liam - 08444124626

But yes, there are tickets available at the approach to the Festival - though it is much better if you can have one on your car before you get close to site, as it will make it much less hassle for you and easier for traffic flow and the stewards
