dan05delaney
They did, and they will be in the area. They play Ireland a few days before Glasto and Wembley a week before (which I'm going to ). Not a bad shout I reckon.
string
AC/DC...................let's have some rock and roll to counter all the pop. Green Day? RATM even The Charlatans who'd put on a top show. You know what? I'd even settle for an evening of mild rock anthems from Embrace. Anything but bumping DR to headline. Hey, ho. Sure we'll all have a top time anyway. mr flow
Would Elbow be miles away from a realistic choice? I know they are in the middle of writing the new album and they have said they aren't going to do live shows this year but they have a good relationship with the festival and i'm sure they are holding out for a headline slot? Chances?

J_J_
With a bit of organisation and motivation, U2 could still play, but do what Korn did at Download 2006. Their lead singer was taken sick at the eleventh hour, so they had the singers from other bands step in and do a song or two each. I'm not a huge U2 fan, but they have some awesome songs... With the depth of talent at Glastonbury, it could be a great show (Edited to add... I don't know if this has already been suggested. My headache doesn't want me to sit here for hours reading all the threads... apologies) Edited May 25, 2010 by J_J_

Paadzer
If it's Macca the poor Bootleg Beatles will have no audience at the acoustic stage
Mas
Lady gaga is free with a few days to go before she has to be in Canada and Aerosmith could jet in and jet out again as their in europ and its a day off for them. I'd be pretty made up with either. I'd be happy with Kylie too!

sums98
Didn't they headline only a couple of years ago Still, it would make Friday's headline slot decision is a little easier - Flaming Lips v Mos Def v Bootleg Beatles only to choose from...
