Camping areas, whats each area like ?

Just wondering if a few Glasto regulars would be able to shed a little light as to what each camping area is like, i've seen it gives a small idea on the official site, but just interested in finding out where the best area is for a good nights kip, wheres best for partying all night, which are the busiest areas, any areas that are on hills / slopes, are some areas more popular with old / young / hippys ect .....

I'm not asking 'where should i camp' as i'll be happy with wherever i set up camp, but just interested as to what each area has to offer.

That FAQ covers popularity (resulting in tent density) and closeness to entertainment areas.

Other than that, I don't think it's possible to describe the "character" of the various fields. It depends entirely on who happens to pitch up there, and who your neighbours happen to be. The character will be completely different in different parts of the same field.
