They just change their logo on social networks. Maybe sign of next announcement soon? Something is coming here, NovaRock teases for early October, Werchter spoke yesterday about wishlist ending soon... Could we have a tour announcement of Linkin Park with them playing Lollapalooza Paris (Live Nation) instead of Hellfest? As it's their first long tour since 2017 and to make sure Emily's voice stays ok, they could do a long 6-7 weeks tour from early June (Rock Am Ring) until mid-July (Lolla Paris). Just an idea. -
I've been banging on about this elsewhere but I've listened through three times today and I'm loving it. I've been looking forward to this one for a while. Bit of a story behind it, Jesse Malin is one of my favourite singer/songwriters, I've seen him countless times and own everything he has put out both solo and in various bands and collaborations. On top of that, he really does seem to be a great bloke, always raising cash for struggling musicians, involved with the Joe Strummer foundation (Strummerville) etc. Anyway... a bit ago he was on a night out in a restaurant, suddenly had a stabbing pain in his lower spine and collapsed to the floor. He'd had a spinal stroke and was paralysed from the waste down. Being American, he can't afford the treatment without fundraisers and this album is part of that. It's a tribute album with many artists covering his songs. The list of contributors is huge and like delving into my record collection. The Hold Steady, Springsteen, Frank Turner, Butch Walker, Counting Crows... on it goes. I think it shows the high esteem in which he is held amongst his fellow musicians. That's the end of my history lesson. TLDR: This is great, give it a listen. -

Must admit I haven't really felt the urge to put the album back on since the first weekend. Might give it another bash now. -
Field Day is moving out of VIctoria Park Regardless - Charli is bigger than it and would just do her own day now (likely with weak support too). Once her upcoming arena shows are done she will no doubt be announced for something to start flogging tickets off the brat summer hype asap before it dies down. More likely for R&L i think tbh (pays better) -
Yeah i've been listening to it a lot the past week - best track on the album I reckon!
