Have you discovered a secret breakfast place?

Ive just woken up, Im stiff from an uncomfortable night on the ground, well hung over, cold (hopefully not being rained on too) and a little grumpy.

Any good ideas for a good breakfast, minimal queues?

Do you have a fav? Maybe a hidden jewel!

Last year i discovered the Polish place, It was very very good.

its got to be the pauline fowler glastonbury growler......its a fest tradition for us to have one every morning. sorts us right out!

When I headed down to the Growler stall for brekky one morning last year they weren't open yet but the local PTA stall next door was doing a lovely bowl of cornflakes with a large cuppa for only £2. Was very yum indeed.

I am not a yogurt fan but many peeps will vouch for the Yeo Valley stall in Babylon.

I am not speaking from a position of having sampled one myself but from what other posters have said on here in previous years, the fry-up at Manic Organic in the Green Fields is supposed to be pretty special. I walked past them for the first time last year - think they were fairly near the Avalon Cafe.....? Happy to be corrected if I have totally lost my bearings

I came acxross the Growler last year on this forum, amd laughed out loud at the photos, however when i found then for real at glasto I couldnt bring myself to buy one yet alone eat it!

I think it's called Veggie Heaven and is on the track going from T'Other Stage to "West Holts" area - there's a string of stalls that look pretty similar but this was in AMAZING and as it's vegetarian, there's no chance of regurgitation if you're slighly hungover

Small World in the greenfields for eggy bread, museli and tea. £3, no queues, and calm.

I remember getting some awesome toasties somewhere near the other stage... can't beat a good toastie.

Take some variety packs, im thinkin cheerios on this particular morning, some plastic bowls and wait for the milk man to come round in the morning, dairy feilds about 10.30. wash this down with a bannana, sorted for another day!

I recommend getting a Growler just to hear the guy say 'ONE GROWLER PLEASE!' best voice ever!

I loved the 'Te a Tost' stall near Trash City in 2007 and 2008 I think...good old tea and toast!!!

I recommend Buddhafield Cafe in the Greenfields for a good veggie breakfast, it's always busy but the queue moves fast there is lots of sitting room, you get proper crockery and if you wash up for them for an hour you can have a free breakfast :-P

Think it's about £6 so quite pricey but it's a big plate and will keep you going till way past lunch.

I had a great cheese / tomato / ham crepe (I think) and coffee from a stall in The Park last year. Queues weren't too bad, from what I remember. And the food was good.

I don't usually have anything more extravagant than beer and hobnobs for breakfast at festivals but maybe after reading this I might venture out this year!
