Right, I cant get on the bus due to a important interview taking place on the Wednesday. Im the principle name on the booking. Will my mate be able to grab my ticket whilst on the bus if I give him all the info needed etc? Or if I cannot collect my ticket will I be able to grab it from the ticket collection point?? Any help would be grateful..

As i understand it, you have to travel on the coach to get your ticket, sorry dude :P

found this on the ticket FAQ page on the website:

Please note:

· For all Combined Coach and Festival Tickets, it is mandatory that you travel on the coach.

· Only the Coach travel portion of combined tickets will be sent out in advance.

· Your Festival tickets will be handed out to the lead booker only by the coach driver at a point during the journey.

· All coaches are for travel to the Festival site on WEDNESDAY 23RD JUNE with returns on Monday 28th June.

guess if it's a really serious interview then perhaps it's worth giving the festival office a call but i imagine you'd have to have a very convincing story...

As i understood it - from friends who travelled on the bus in the past...

You never actually get a ticket, just get your wrist band and driven into festival - so nope you wouldn't get in due to not having a pass-out voucher to get back in with.

Even if they do hand out tickets on the coach they are not likely to give ANY tickets to anyone that is not named and pictured on the ticket - prob just would not give it to your mate...

Could be well wrong, and there must be away around for people that get held up and miss the bus - prob have to make your way to some office to pick the ticket/band. Might be worth asking now though - no way you can move your interview/bus time?

Someone must have missed the bus in the past?

First time (and last I hope) I had a coach combination ticket I went to the coach pick up point, offered the driver £20 and he accepted and gave us our festival tickets. We then travelled as and when it suited us, not very green but hey these things happen! Its a long story why I had to do this but it involved me needing to get my campervan to Glasto rather than going on the coach without my campervan.

And so, if you want your ticket then you'll still have to at least be at the pickup point.

Good luck

In 2007 we were given our tickets on the coach. This year we've realised that the coach time doesn't really suit. We contacted SEETICKETs to see if we could change the coach times and they weren't having any of it.(bastards!)

I would try and get the interview moved. I've been on interview panels where people have rang up and asked if they could come a day earlier/later and we've accomodated them.

Admittedly not all employers are that flexible but it's worth a try , especially as you can give them quite a bit of notice (Don't tell them its for Glastonbury though, funeral should do the trick)

Just an idea, but I read on here somewhere that a family booked coach tickets and they then contacted see tickets to arrange the coach travel for their son who was under 12 so therefore didnt need a ticket. They were informed by see tickets that no children were allowed on the bus so therefore they refunded their coach tickets and resold them normal entry tickets to accomodate the child. Why not ring up and say you need coacch travel for a child now and hopefully the same will be applied. Good Luck
