Using east car parks

Hi going this year for 3rd time, have previously been in west car parks, looking to use east car parks. to camp on that side. Will be using Glastonbury to Shepton Mallet route as normal (dont want to take risk of getting lost otherwise). A bit confused as whether can just drive past first gate (D ) to get to east side or are you guided in to the first gate en route ?..thanks in advance

Yup... you'll need to do a wide circle around the area if you want to get into the east car park when approaching it from the west.

Perhaps do something like THIS or THIS

Anything along THESE roads and you'll end up in the west car park.

You dont need that wide drag round Shepton Mallet, once in Shepton if you head down the A361 you will get into the East Side ok. You just wont be able to turn right and head into Pilton
