Thursday Camping Spots

I've got exams up until 3pm on Thursday, so will be aiming to be onsite at Glasto for about 6ish. I've always left early on Thursday morning before and never really had trouble finding a spot for the tent to go up, but i'm starting to worry whether i'll find a decent spot this year, as quite often i've been wandering around the site during early evening on Thursday and seen loads of people looking for spots for their tents.

Anyone know which areas usually have quite a few spots free at about 6ish on Thursday so my mates and I can head straight there rather than doing the Glasto marathon 'round the site lugging round loads of gear? Camped up near The Park last year and there were a few spots left on Friday morning, so that might be quite a good bet.

If you like the Park area then Dairy Ground will be your best bet.

Close enough to the Other stage and an easy walk to Avalon, Trash City etc.

West Carparks are your friends.

Looking at GlastoEarth, Dairy Ground looks like a cracking area. Thanks for the suggestions guys - if Dairy Ground is full then i'll be sure to ask some stewards!

if you were up by Park last year that was South Park..which has been taken for crew camping this year..but Dairy Ground should be ok at Thurs evening

no dairy ground is awful; don't go there

Stay away....
