Getting to site when camping off site

I am taking my 11 year old so for the first time & It's 13 years since I've been myself. For Various reasons I am unable to camp on the festival site , (My son needs electricity at night) I have found a great campsite 3 miles away ish , Green acres campsite . Can anyone give me suggestions on to-ing & Fro-ing from the site daily ? I'm told if it's muddy taxis aren't keen to take you even if you have a change of clothes & shoes .

Cycling? Make sure you have lights at night! Pretty bike friendly on site, and makes it much easier to get around, and means when you arrive at a stage your feet don't hurt from walking.

biking is a good plan, if you can. otherwise, check how far your campsite is from the drop off point (at the bath and weston show ground i believe) as there is free buses daily to the site, http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/info...d-collect-point
