Dry Shampoo

Batiste! You can get it from Boots & Superdug for about £2.50. You can get mini cans of it too but they're a bit of a rip off. They also do coloured versions (though not for red hair yet, grr) and different scents. I'll be taking a can with me!

Batiste for Festi use is best. I use the Toni&Guy one at home for a bit of a refresh as I find it's lighter and doesn't appear as "powdery"... but Glasto is such a long time that you need something with a bit more power!

I get the mini cans, purely for packing purposes! x

Boots do their own, think it is Boots Expert Dry Shampoo, I got some a few months ago and it's very good, seems to rub in better than Batiste too.

I will be washing my hair as I can't survive the whole 5 days without doing so, but I'll also be taking dry shampoo to refresh when needed!

Agree with the post earlier, the Tropical Batiste has a very strong smell, the one in a pink can is quite nice though!

yepp batiste is good :)

Ive got peroxide blonde hair, so once brushed out it was invisable. Howver, my friend with darker blonde had to really brush it out because it showed so much!

Also, dont do it every day like if you wash it everyday as after 2 or so days it wont work it just gunks ya hair up.. What i do is leave it untill my hair is looking a bit dull (about 2 days) and spray it on then the next day if its crap i chuck it back, put a head scarf on and it looks funkay!!

Dry shampoo is really just talc powder in a can - I use Johnson Baby powder dust a bit into my hands and then rub through my roots. It's sooooooo much cheaper than a any of the cans!

I've tried talc in the past, but I have bright red hair and talc makes it look really dull, whereas if I brush batiste through properly it looks fine :)

Wish I had hair that wasn't quite so high maintenance, I'd save myself so much money!

Sorry, pardon my ignorance on this subject but what is dry shampoo? I have never heard of it before. Sounds like it might get me through Glasto with out going insane or freezing my head off under a tap/bucket. Might have to get me some when we touch down......
