We are getting the train Liv. Its either that or walking, and I think the walk is a bit more than just a everyday stroll! Haha!

Heyy, yeah me and my mates did it last year. We booked early enough and it somehow worked out cheaper to go first class on the way there! so it was fab. But the train was quick and easy enough. Like mentioned above, straight to Stafford then shuttle to V no traffic at all!

Hmm, wondering if this is do-able from Stoke on Trent then too? anyone know? Only going for the Sat (unfortunately) but really don't wanna drive and not be able to have a drink (or 3 )

Lucky you the train starts at £5.60 One Way so about £6.00 return and takes like 20 minutes, the shuttle buses run about every 10 minutes i'm led to believe?

me and the gf are goin on the friday from the wirral and will have room for 2, coming back on the monday morning

Just looked on trainline.com and getting to Stafford would be ok, getting back isn't looking so good unfortunately though, train times not til the next morning

I'm not 100% sure but i think the shuttle buses run into the night?
