Who's taking there children with them?

Hi, not sure ive stuck this in the right place.

Just wondering if any of you are taking your children with you.

This is my first glastonbury and im taking my 11 year old son with me

and my friend is taking her 2year son too, was just wondering cause would be nice

to maybe meet up with people who have there children with them.

Relly excited now and were all countin down the days hehe

I'm taking two one four the other six, so probably too much of a difference for the kids wanting toplay with each other.

We're booked on the nationalexpress bus from Leeds on Wednesday.

You will have no problem in meeting other people with children - Glasto is the largest festival for kids in europe

Did this the last couple of years with 2,4 and 6 year olds and believe me after that we need a break this year with no kids at all so thats what we're doing. Good luck with it, most of its great fun but it kind of gets on your tits every now and then.

I am taking my 4 year old daughter for her first time, my 8th. I am really excited about having her with me this year, but slightly anxious about just about everything!!!! Mainly, my worry is that she won't love it as much as I do!!! She is pretty chilled though, and very used to camping and other festivals, so I am sure it will all be fine (fingers crossed!)

We are bringing our 3-year old Son for his 1st time...We have been to the last 7!

He has already been to the site this year and keeps talking abnout the Pirate Ship that he saw being built and the tractors and sheep that he saw...Have to keep saying 'no sheep/tractors this time'

No kids with me but if I did I would definately be taking them to the Superhero School around by the Circus area I think. Looked great fun

Taking the 9 and the 5 year old. They went in 2008 too. Absolutely bloody loved it they did.

Eldest won a writing prize at school the other week and when the Head asked him in front of all the other kids and parents what it was about, he proudly told them it was his trip to Glastonbury 2008.

Daft thing is we didn't get "permission" at the time.

They would look a bit daft now by not granting it wouldn't they?

we'll be alright mate. a lot of it is down to the weather though isn't it? if it's dry (which it will be of course), things will be a lot easier. if however it's a river of mud, i'm not sure we'll stay for the whole weekend!

i reckon kids make it easier in the wet years.

it's much easier to sit on the make n do tent or the storytelling tent when it's raining than wander around looking for something to do.
