nah man the were quality I saw them support Ozzy '86 and they were brilliant they went off the boil later on granted, but their new album is suprisingly good and was looking forward to seeing them again - I guess it's all about personal preference.

Its quite easy to knock the Hair Metal thing, but those that are still going will have matured, ok some of them may be crap, but with so many years of experience, they can also be remarkably good.

Some of my fav CDs in the car are '80s metal, Love Hate, Tesla, Ratt, Great White, Kingdon Come etc

Maverick_AC No one's getting moved to the main stage. I'm trying to get a decent replacement for Ratt, if not, then I'll adjust times on the main stage

Feel a bit sorry for him witht he amount of dropouts this year

I wasn't fussed about Ratt so here's hoping for a good replacement!

I was gunna watch Ratt too, and their new stuff is really good, damn shame, hope they get a replacement even if I don't like them cus at least then the times will be right, cus obviously the necktie timetable will be printed by now, infact I wonder how far back they were printed

Looks like Saxon have 55 minutes now, I wonder if AC will find anyone else at such short notice? Didn't someone else pull out that he couldn't replace because he didnt have enough time to find someone?

I had a look after I posted that, I think youre right, looked like they had a longer set than the band after them but I was knackered last night.

Andy Copping's not having much luck this year, is he. I read somewhere - his twitter I think - if he can't find a decent band to replace Ratt then he'll extend the main stage bands' sets, not move someone from another stage.

All this is playing havoc with my clashes!
