Transport advice from Nottingham

Right,

So I have a ticket for 3 days, and I'm planning on going and not going away again until Monday. I live in Nottingham, and have a car I can use if I like. What do you think the best way of getting to Download is?

Some options that have occurred to me:

1) Drive, and fork out the £20 for a parking ticket

2) Get to Nottingham City Centre, then get on one of the airport buses that go from there, then walk the rest.

3) Get to East Midlands Parkway on a train, and get on a shuttle bus?

4) Do something else?

I'd get the airport bus mate.

Airport bus is £5 return, the best option from Nottingham.

The A453 is only a single lane road so everything out of Nottingham in the direction of the M1 is going to be f**ked for the best part of the next 3 days. Mornings at least. Get the bus.
