With this years glastonbury being the fourtieth and my kids first Ive concocted a plan to take lots of photos, bring back parts of the daily paper thing and any other nick knacks that cross my path and make them up a scrap book.

Was thinking of sticking in our wrist bands and ticket stubs maybe the map marking where we camped that kind of thing. Do kids get a wrist band?

Has anyone done this before? did it work out? can I see pics if you have or does anyone have a idea to make it better

Ive already ordered the oxfam thing before anyone suggests it

there'll be plenty of pics and things in the programme to cut out.

you could put in paper plates or whatever from the places you ate at that you liked - eg Pie Minister pies come in a cardboard box with their logo on.

you're bound to see celebrities if you keep your eyes open & i'm sure they won't begrudge you an autograph or a photo if it's for the kids' scrapbook. michael eavis is always driving round the site, keep an eye on who's in landrovers.

probably easier at the smaller stages but after you've seen a band you like, ask a security guy nicely if he'll grab you a setlist from the stage.

I did something last year - it's usually my bloke's birthday during the festival, so last year on the first day I bought a tiny notebook from one of the stalls, and got everyone we were with and then everyone we met to write a little message or draw something in it, and that was his birthday festival memento :) There's some brilliantly random stuff in there, I accosted a few people who just happened to be sitting next to us or standing in the same queue or whatever!
