Tickets not arrived yet?

I have read on other threads that DX are supposed to photograph the place they deliver to, and that See can obtain not only this photo but a copy of the signature. Might not help, but worth a try.

If nobody signed for the ticket, then DX are clearly at fault. If a random signed for it without your i.d., ditto, and they should be able to provide the signature. Otherwise what's the point of asking for it?

My boyfriend still hasn't got his ticket either. He bought it in the very final resale.

I made him phone up seetickets today, who said they'd sent it at 5pm last night. I've already checked the tracker today and it doesn't say it's been sent yet. There's been no dispatch email either, and if it's going by royal mail recorded delivery (as these last ones now are), surely it should have arrived by now?

I'm so angry. This is going to be his first Glastonbury and we were so lucky and excited to get him tickets at the last minute. This is all see's fault too, apparently there were 'unforseen problems with the printing process' or something? Seriously, how hard is it to print some tickets?!

I just hope he and everyone else who's still waiting get them in time before they leave for the festival.

Edit: Scratch that. Just after I posted this I got an email from him saying he'd just got his ticket. What a relief.

I'm still angry with see for their complete lack of customer service. I work in customer service and their communication is just not acceptable - there was hardly any at all and what they said just contradicted with each other. Leaving it this late to receive tickets is not on either.

I've got my fingers crossed for everyone still waiting!

It's true about the photograph (and signature): my tickets have apparently been delivered twice (according to the DX emails I've received). I spoke to DX who told me to speak to See to get the delivery details (the manifest - why don't they have it?!?!?). Last Friday See phoned me to say my tickets had been delivered on the first date and signed for by someone I don't know at a house with a black front door. Mine is white. See have approached Glastonbury organisers to get new tickets !!!!!!! A week later, and 3 attempts by me at getting an update, NOTHING. Now wondering if I'll get there at all!!

I just checked the tracker for my boyfriend's tickets and it still says 'tickets are in stock and will be dispatched shortly to...' (even though they arrived this morning). So to everyone still waiting: ignore the tracker.

No one will take any notice. After all they have had our money since October 2009.I'm beginning to wonder what I could have spent the ticket, camper van etc money on and had REAL fun. Here's hoping Sat post will have tickets. If not .....................?Still never again. Little festivals are great fun and the alternative Glaso fest near Leicester is cheap and fun without the stress.Guess where my money is going next year?

Spacey, I'll be interested to find out if you hear from Customer Services this weekend as I have been asked to ring back about a missing campervan pass on Monday because they " will need to sort it out with Customer Services, who only work Mon to Fri office hours". This is the second time I have been told this by See about their Customer Service dept.

The pass never turned up with my tickets (as it should have) which arrived 3 weeks ago. A fortnight ago they put me on a list to be sent a replacement and when I pressed for delivery before this weekend (as we were planning to go away) they made a decision not to send it out "in case [we] had gone by the time it arrived". They didn't tell me this, so I changed my plans and didn't go away so I would be at home for the delivery.

Now they tell me it's too late to send it out by Special Delivery and they "don't want to cause any more problems" for me by messing this up. Instead, I have to get in touch with them on Monday, and liaise with Customer Services to make special arrangements to drive to Glastonbury, park in a holding area by the campervan field and walk to their office, show ID and collect the pass in person. Any bets on the multitude of ways in which this can go wrong?????!!!!!!

Update on this if anyone interested. Finally got through to a helpful person at See who kept running upstairs to customer services to find out what was going on. Turns out I've got to collect my ticket from somewhere at Pedestrian gate A. Apparently See are taking a printing machine there to print out the tickets!! As I have a campervan ticket they say I can pick it up Tuesday although e mail says Wednesday. This will probably mean me driving down from Devon in the car Tuesday, driving back picking up camper and meeting friends with 2 caravans and another camper and driving back in the early hours of Wednesday. As we all want to camp together and are in East fields on the opposite side of the site from Gate A the idea of a convoy travelling around the site on Wed morning in all the traffic doesn't sound like a good idea and you can't pick up tickets until 10am on the Wednesday so I can't even go extra early then.

As I ordered and paid for my tickets in October I feel that See have really let me down.

This is just so worrying - going all that way towing something in the hope you get your ticket.

ask them for an email to confirm this so you can print it out and take it with you - if they can even put a name on it for the person in charge for handing out the tickets.

hope it goes well

I just can't believe what I'm reading here. We're lucky, we received our tickets a couple of weeks ago but sounds like that was more luck than judgement. What I can't quite work out is who the culprit it because it sounds like both See and DX run completely shambolic operations.

Quite right all of you who say we should be able to relax about getting our tickets and not have to take part in the bloody Krypton Factor to get it. What we need is a decent ticket agent (with printers?!) who don't need to take a cut of the postage we paid and will therefore send via Royal Mail.

Hey Guys,

Well Im in the same situation here. The SEE website says my tickets are being "dispatched shortly". The only problem is that I am coming from the US and will be leaving in a few days. I am going to try and contact SEE via phone since the 5 emails I sent didn't do any good, but my question is should I still show up anyway? I have all the paperwork and seeing that I paid they should help me out right? I would imagine loads of people are in the same position and they cant leave us to sleep in the parking lots, I hope.

here are some numbers I found for SEE if anyone needs them

0870 230 0010

0844 412 4626

0871 220 0260

0870 060 3794

Thanks and Good luck
