Tickets not arrived yet?

Have to collect tickets from box office on site.Any idea where that is or where I park my camper while I fetch them?What a mess due to incompetence of See.

I have to pick up my campervan pass on site - was first told to drive to the box office (I think it's at either gate A or B, not sure which one)in my motorhome, then told not to do this, but to park in a "holding area" at the entrance to the campervan fields whilst I walk to the ticket office, NOW told that See Tickets staff will be at the entrance to the campervan fields with those tickets people have arranged to collect - I need to give my booking ref and credit card to verify entitlement and then they will hand the campervan pass over to me.

Remains to see what actually happens when I arrive!

This was from a customer services person rather than just someone who answers the phone. I had to make quite a fuss to be able to talk to her but she did seem to know what was going on. Hey Spacey, guess what? All the info I was given yesterday with a cast iron assurance it was correct was not!!!! E-mails now tell me (as you have been told) to collect them from the box office. So I rang See again - who vaguely and half-heartedly apologised for getting it wrong and confirmed I have to go to the Box Office at Gate A. Say I "could try" going to campervan field and see if they let me in but can't guarantee it. They strongly advise driving up to the yellow gate and parking there and collecting the pass. My vehicle is 19ft long 8ft high and 6ft 8in wide. Could make for some interesting manoeuvring!?!?!?!

Seriously hacked off with See - it isn't our fault they didn't deliver is it?

Well I picked up my tickets. Couldn't get them until Wednesday even though I had a campervan and wanted them Tuesday. Had to get them from PGA on the other side of the site from East campervan fields. This resulted in an extra 5 hours on my journey time. I know this as the group of friends who I was going to meet up with about 12 miles from the site were parked up at about 10am and I got there at 3pm after sitting in traffic for hours having left home at 5.45am. Being sent backwards and forwards by stewards who didn't know where I was supposed to be, then parking and having a 15 minute walk each way to the box office.

Luckily my friends managed to convince the stewards to save me a space so I was able to camp with them but it was touch and go and if they hadn't I would have been on my own. Thanks to the nice stewards.

After all that I had a great festival but a letter o complaint will be going to See.

How did others fare who were in the same position?

I was sent from red gate to orange gate and back to yellow gate (all on the West side where I didn't want to be) where security let me drive in and I was allowed to park and then had to walk to pedestrian gate A which was about 15 to 20 minute walk. There I got my ticket and had to drive to blue on the East side. No one seemed to know anything. Obviously no contingency plan, but you (Tecnophobe) seem to have had even more trouble than me. It seems strange that you were supposed to be in West fields and got sent to East and I got sent to West and wanted to be in East. It took me 9 and a half hours to do the trip from North Devon. It would have taken 2 or 3 hours on a normal day and the friends I went with took 4 hours, so the extra 5 hours was due to not getting the ticket delivered.

Glad to hear you had a good festival once there.

I was thinking of sending a copy of the letter I will be writing to See to Glastonbury festivals (or Michael Eavis)

Suggest you copy it to the Festival Office (details here:http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/contact-us/festival-office/) rather than to the Eavis's who probably won't want to be involved - the Festival Office will, I suspect, be concerned to hear about our experiences.
