hi, does anyone know of any good places to buy a mens knee-length waterproof parka or anything simular, not a very expensive one though, if its too wrecked i'll be throwing it out once i'm back at home.

Army surplus however is worthwhile, the old dutch and danish parkas are in the shops very cheap with now. If you're dubious about the waterproofing you soak them through (is possible) then spray them with Nikwax and let them dry and it should last you years as a waterproof.

If you have no luck, there are army surplus shops a plenty on site. Joe Bananas tends to have old army ponchos (Vulcan rubber) and waxed coats going from kind of ok to well cheap prices.

It might be too late by then, but there are some good army surplus stalls on site.

I've found them cheaper than army surplus shops in town.
