Fruit & veg & salads

Can't find the search button today  so can anyone remind me please if all of the above are available to buy at Glasto?

I can remember a fruit stall on the way down from the railway line to JazzWorld, but can;t remember if it does veg.

And does anywhere do nice salads (ie more than a few token lettuce leaves and a chunk of cucumber?) to go with a main meal or as a stand alone?

Want a degree of healthiness this Glasto and don;t want to just eat curries. :)

Not sure of the stall name, but it says "Vegan Vegetarian" on the sign. There is one in the market to the left of the pyramid. They have a salad called "goodness salad" it's huge, tasty and filling. Has all sorts in it, cous-cous, greens, think it had chick peas or something too. Mmmmmm!

Their Veggie burgers are well nice too, they're stacked high with a good portion of goodness salad too.

Cheers all - never been to Glasto looking for salads, so this is reassuring that they'll be around the place both up in the green fields and near main stages. Not that I'm dieting or owt, just want to keep things a little more balanced this year.

& as for loose veg, hoping mainly to get hold of mushrooms (greengrocer types, before anyone quips) and tomatoes to help with fried brakfasts at camp. :)

Don't ever remember seeing salad stuff (raw materials that is !) on the Fruit Stall or anywhere else for that matter over the last several years ... although that's defo not a no cos I'm never exactly looking for it so can't be sure ! The Fruit Stall is however always where you suggested and is #6 on my customary arrival day programme starting just after tent up and brew downed: Cider Bus, Oggie Stall, Brothers Bar, Stone Circle (and the view therefrom), Tiny Tea Tent then just across the track to acquire a collection of fruit various to take back to the tent for consumption over the next day or so. That's about the only time that I have anything 'planned' over Glasto mind you, after that it's anything goes

Plenty of food stalls serving salads various tho. Manic Organic veggie stir-fry springs immediately to mind and comes with a pita and salad as does lots of other meals available in and around Greenfields of course. I'm defo not a vegiie but always enjoy shedloads of veggie stuff at Glasto - I know good munchies when I see them and it matters not to me whether it contains bits of dead animal or otherwise !
