Yes, you can came and go as often as you like. However bear in mind it'll probably be a long walk there and back!

Don't forget you have to take your ticket with you to get back in again.

Unless they have changed the system then on your way back to the car you need to show wrist band and the retained part of your ticket. If you have both then they also give you a passout card. On return you need all 3 to get back in.

Basically "your papers must be in order" :-)

If you arrive late you may have up to a 2 mile walk though.

This may be blindingly obvious but make a note of which field you're parked in. We didn't one year and spent about four hours searching for the car. Luckily we were only going back for beer so we didn't have all our shite with us, otherwise my skeleton would probably still be out there.

But yes, I go back all the time, saves crippling yourself carrying everything in one go, but they let you in an out as you wish.
