sat here thinking what I need to bring with me having never been to Glastonbury before, I know the usual stuff but what would be handy is some info from seasoned people that have built up there knowledge over time,if anybody out there wants to share some info it would be greatly appreciated . thanks

But it is soo true.

I often joke about expecting all sorts of weather except snow and showers of frogs, but being Glastonbury, I'm not discounting the shower of frogs :P

For the cold nights, long woolen socks and a woolen overshirt sorts me out. I prefer a shirt to a jumper as if it is nippy but still too warm for a jumper, I can leave it undone. Also it is a a good thing to wear near open fires (wool does not ignite like a fleece) and under a waterproof (so avoiding the cold clammy feeling you get with most waterproofs).

An old levis dockers woolen shirt could be picked up quite cheap, itchy wool army shirt often can be found under £10 or one from one of the retro stalls onsite does me fine (pendleton or simmilar styles).
