Site runs fine on Win 7 but dies a death on Apple Mac...

Just realised why, Flash is crap on Apple...

Anyone having issues with the site on Apple, it will at least be in part down to Adobe Flash...

I don't. I just have a big blank space where an ad should be, with the word 'Advertisement' along the top of it. No ads at all in fact and I'm not using an ad blocker (I dont think). Until I got used to it I thought the page wasn't loading

Why are there endless javascript errors continually popping up?

Im getting about 10 every time I load a new thread.

A fix for this problem is now in place, and the javascript error messages should have now gone away.

Note that you might have to force a full refresh (by doing Ctrl-F5) so that you are properly loading both the amended skin and the changed menu system.

Note that there might be some issues created elsewhere by this fix, tho these are likely to be minor and related to some of the forums formatting. These will looked at and addressed as necessary over the coming days.

If you're still getting a javascript error (after having forced a full refresh) then please post full details here. To help me cure that error, please provide me with:-

- what the error is.

- the exact URL (webpage) address of where you experienced the error.

- which web browser you're using, and which version.

- which operating system and version you're using.

- whether you're logged in or out when you get the error.

i'm making the same posts i normally make in the world cup threads as are others. the simple fact is that there are very few new topics being started and the big topics don't have anywhere near as many posts as they would have last year. just look at the english football thread.

it's a shame but people seem to be leaving or just not caring enough to come on as much as they did. i can't discuss with myself.

Some people are more interested in labelling people homophobic, racist or even worse... Is it surprising many people can't be arsed lighting the touch paper these days... Another reason Its hardly worth starting a thread on any given topic is the usal suspects pull out the same old tired lines. Given any subject matter you know exactly the lines that are going to be spouted by Neil, myself, worm, Pogo, yourself, coolphil, stifi etc...

There is no doubt whatsoever that there is less people posting on here---and as much as No1 says its nothing to do with The Changeling and that the post count is not down---i cant see it, esp in The Discussions section.

Just look at how many new threads are being created.

Is it the summer? Is it glasto? Well, maybe to a certain degree but overall I dont think so.

I have got used to it---but cos i`m always at it--- it becomes easier,but if you just pop on and it all looks a bit daunting--i can see why semi-regulars aren`t bothering.

I really have to have a lot of patience to post here now because of how long it takes (but that might be down to my end here,but it was ok before) to load up.

Finally, I must add that all the forums i use (festy ones) are dead as farts and i think its to do with people are not going to festivals in the same numbers,apart from G maybe.

I do hope things pick up,cos its easy to see how apathy breeds and next thing there will be hardly anybody posting at all.
