campervan fields and bbq

OK have to admit this will be my first go in the campervan field and it didn't really occur to me until I read the conditions on the ticket...

I see you can have BBQ's by which I'm assuming they mean them disposable ones you can buy..

Can you not have any other kind of fire even its controlled say for instance in a fire pit?? I have a fire pit even comes with a mesh lid if necessary.

Wasn't sure how strict and enforced this rule is..

we have taken to our last 3 glasto's a cast Iron BBQ which we BBQ on during the day and when we get back to the camper late at night we chuck in a few few logs and fire it up.

Never had any problem with security.

As long as its not huge and a safe distance from your vehicle, especially the fuel tank, then you'll be fine.

Yes you will be fine, we took a cast iron one last year and some logs, was great on the Wednesday and Thursday. Check out Mystical Fire on eBay - it changes the colour of the fire!!
