Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders

they were playing on friday, same day as them crooked vultures.

Which leads me to my point...

On a couple of their american shows they got dave grohl out to drum for a few songs, leaving taylor just on vocals. As they were both there on the same day, anybody know if they did this again? Would have been pretty epic!

This didn't happen. They were damn good though, but the set was too short for special guests.

Yeah Dave sat on the left of stage (got a huge cheer when he arrived) and the whole band were fantastic. Great atmosphere in the tent and why they weren't on a bigger stage I'll never know as they were amazing. Sadly they had too little time to even talk - Taylor was out of breath he had to race into each song!

I saw them in glasgow last wednesday, and they were excellent. How taylor manages to put so much energy into his drumming and still sing is a wonder!
