Absolutely delighted with that result today. McInnes has managed to retain the defensive solidity of last season and added a real goal threat. Sandaza looks to be an inspired signing, and Liam Craig has hit form again after a poor season last year (and looks to have got his goal scoring touch back)

3 big games in the next week for us (St mirren in the cup, then hearts and hibs in the league)

And to make things better my boss is a Well fan :D:lol:

EDIT: and also we're unbeaten away from home and are yet to concede a goal on the road!

Looks like Steve Jennings of Motherwell FC is deeply in the shit.

Concerns about the game were raised at the time by the Association of British Bookmakers after a number of bets from the Liverpool area were placed on there being a sending off.

During the match Jennings, who had already been booked, was shown a straight red card for foul and abusive language aimed at referee Stevie O'Reilly late in the 2-1 home defeat.

The 26-year-old, who is from Liverpool

From those supposed facts, I can't see him being cleared. :O

John Greig and John McClelland have resigned

Rangers' non-executive directors, John Greig and John McClelland, have resigned from their posts at Ibrox.

The duo say that they have been isolated following Craig Whyte's takeover of the club in May.

"These resignations have been communicated by letter to the chairman, Craig Whyte," read a statement.

"Both were of the opinion that since the change of ownership they have been excluded from participating in corporate governance at the club."

What amazes me is why Whyte got involved. He presumably went through due diligence with the takeover so must have known things were going to get a little messy financially.

Celtic should be worried too, they both need each other.

Whyte has stated his plan for losing the tax case - administration. So it's not like it's passed him by.

I think he took a gamble that they'd win, while the seller knew there was zero chance of winning because there's already legal precedents for identical tax abuse.

So either he's thinking that the authorities won't let Rangers fail, or he plans to buy them out of admin for peanuts without the debts (Ken Bates styleeee) and make a pile.
