Hi - hope someone might be able to help us. Arriving first thing weds with a rather pregnant girlfriend! We always camp in Big Ground and obviously want to keep the walk to a minimum this year - normally park in West car parks and trek! What would be the best way to ensure we are close to Gate B arriving from the midlands. Looking on Glasto earth it looks like coming in on the A37 then aiming for the brown gate? Any advice much appreciated!

Read somewhere on hear that brown gate is not always open, so you may end up at then next gate down which would be a nightmare of a walk through the camper van fields.

We usually use the east car park, sat nav postcode is BA4 6TA.

You will be directed to whichever car park they are filling up. I would advise if you end up in E1 to E7 go for gate B any other car park go to Gate C.

Never heard of B not being open but it is a smaller gate, less turnstiles (unless it has changed form 2 years ago), so even what appears to be a short queue will not move that quickly, on 08 we must have taken over an hour to move 100 yards.
