Is there anywhere to send post cards?

My Mum is in hospital but she's said she wants my brother and I to go to Glastonbury but I know she would love it if we sent a post card.

I know it's probably a long shot but anyone know of any stalls or such places you can send something like that?

Yes yes yes there is - can;t remember where, somewhere near Greenfields etc

There is a lovely little place with Glastonbury postcards, with benches outside where you can write them, stick a stamp on them - stamp them with a Glastonbury stamp and put them in the postbox.... I posted one to my Mum on the Thursday last year and it arrived on the Saturday while I was there

I shall be doing the same this year

Also sent one to myself that I got when I went home - it said I was having a wonderful time and is now in my memory box

Walk up the main farmhouse to stone circle road towards the stone circle, and there's a massive postcard sending stall, selling postcards, stamps and with a postbox collected daily just before the entrance to the stone circle.

Sure I def saw this last year, up the hill at the back of the site towards the stone circle. Quite near the wishing tree.

Def going to try and do this on Wednesday.

There's two - one in the Greenfields and one in the marketplace near the Leftfield - from the range of cards I'd say they are run by the same people. I always mean to send some but never do so maybe this time!

quick tip for everyone!

Get some sticky labels and write the addresses of the people you would like to send a postcard on them...

1. You don't forget you who you want to send one to because you are trolleyed!

2. You don't need your address book

3. I get my cards done in a quarter of the time as my mate every year as I do this and she doesn't so I sit smuggly in the sunshine while she is still going "is it number 51 or 52?" "now who else..."

There are a couple of places, there is one between the cider bus and the leftfield sculpture. You buy the card and stamp and write it there and they post it that day. Just be careful what you write after a few beers :-)

As the others have said, while there is no "post office" there are a few stalls that will post postcards for you.
